Job tasks:
Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating new business and managing their sales pipeline. This key role will make contact with prospective clients and work to create interest in our product line. The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of experience making outbound sales calls. In this role you will be challenged to use your leadership skills, negotiating skills and organizational skills to ensure competitive pricing, customer knowledge and customer satisfaction. Communicate to properly service contacts and accounts; participate in account planning and team strategy to penetrate contacts and accounts; work with team to maximize sales potential of new opportunities.
Qualifications
Work activities:
• College degree highly preferred
• 2-3 years experience in a B2B sales environment is required
• Strong communication and leadership skills required
• Proven track record of sales performance
• Explain products and/or services and prices, and answer questions from potential customers.
• Send follow-up communication and product or service information to potential customers.
• Obtain customer information and enter into CRM program, such as contact information, product platform currently used, product interest, and rate the lead.
• If the lead becomes an opportunity, the inside sales specialist will pass it on to the account representative for initial contact.
• Works with the account representative to close the business or facilitate a product demonstration, if required.
