Description
Stanley Associates is looking for an Application Instructor/Data Conversion Technician working in Ogden, UT.
The application instructor will be responsible for teaching the client (military client) the detailed operations of the SAMS-E software and any hardware specific related matters associated with the operation of their system. The application instructor is also primarily responsible for assisting the military client with the actual conversion and transfer of data onto their SAMS-E system and the necessary technical support in ensuring that it is properly configured.
Specific Duties:
• Develop and/or modification of Lesson Plans
• Coordinate training aids and classroom setup
• Will serve as a Lead Instructor for all SAMS-E Courses (Managers, Operators and SAMS-2E)
• May assist team members running Data Conversion Site and hardware issues with clients
• Conduct pre-conversion of data and advise unit of clean up procedures
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Data Conversion Process and interpreting Error Logs
• Assistant Instructor for the CSSAMO Class
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup, operating and network issues
• Prepare and maintain unit Configuration Management (CM) packets
• Provide QA/QC for units
• Provide Help Desk and Documentation Support as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 3 years directly related work experience are required.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or less.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows NT, 2000, 2003 and/or XP) and MS-office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project)
• Ability to design and develop customer documentation to meet functional and system design specifications
• Ability to translate processes and technical activities into functional, job-related learning opportunities
• Ability to learn specified technology and applications quickly
• Ability to work comfortably and effectively with people at various levels of knowledge and expertise
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
• BS degree preferred, but will consider candidates with relevant work experience
• Familiarity with the Software and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with ARMY Maintenance and Supply Operations
