Working as a member of a strong team, the Flex Developer will design & implement new front ends (using Adobe Flex 2 and other innovative front-end technologies) for a enterprise retail systems, hosted application via tight integration, resolving security, reliability, and performance issues. This position requires extensive knowledge of Adobe Flex Builder 2.0+ and a deep understanding of Action Script 3.0. It also requires experience dealing with advanced graphing, charting and dashboard layout design and an in-depth knowledge of the design and development process for Rich Internet Applications

1. Work with the middle-tier engineering team to interface with the J2EE based API
2. Rapidly prototype user interfaces of proposed features
3. Provide technical expertise to implement and deliver various web and other system projects
4. Gather and analyze requirements, leading the Flex and other UI design and development of the projects
5. Organize and participates in review sessions and contribute to design insights for the Flex and other UI-related projects
6. Develop good quality projects in a challenging timeframe and assist other members of the team
7. Participate in system testing to ensure quality deliverables
8. Provide regular feedback to management on project status
9. Contribute to the Flex and other UI development and continuous review of the existing projects as well as participate in view and scope of future projects
10. Interface with program managers and other developers for project-based assignments.
11. Contribute to, and have responsibility for, completion of assigned Flex and other UI projects
12. Other responsibilities, as assigned.

EDUCATION:
• BBA / BS Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and their implementation in Flex 2
• 2+ years of experience with Flex Builder Adobe Flex Builder 2.0
• 3+ years of experience of ActionScript with 6+ months of experience with ActionScript 3.0
• 5+ years commercial Software Engineering experience or Web programming in any environment
• 5+ years experience in JavaScript, HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS
• Experience with Eclipse
• Experience creating Rich Internet Applications
• Expert of User interface design, and in particular web-based enterprise application design
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, SOAP, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and PaintShop Pro
• Awareness of opportunities using new RIA technologies

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
1. Flash, Flex, ActionScript, AIR, Adobe Life Cycle Data Service.
2. HTML/XML/XLS/CSS/RSS/JavaScript.
